Update

Oh, my goodness!!! You'd think being stuck in my house since Tuesday night, that I'd have lots and lots of time to update this silly blog huh!!! Let me tell you, 2 toddlers sure can take up a lot of time!!! I have more time to work on the computer at work than I do when I am home with these 2 angels!!!!!! Anyway, we stayed really close to home until about Sat. when we really needed to go out for fuel and gas, and let me tell you, that was no small feat to find!!!! We did finally find a gas station that was selling diesel for the generator and gas for my car. We also were able to get some food to stock up the house just in case!!!

The streets were fairly quiet in comparisson to the days before, however there were some random fires, and a UN officer killed. So, things are not normal, whatever that may be in Haiti, but moving that way!!!! LOL. We are back at school today and hoping that things will remain calm enough to keep the process of the papers moving forward and for safety for all!!

We took advantage of our time together as a family, here you can see the kids coloring and such while hanging out with Momma on her bed. We spent lots of time coloring, reading , swimming, riding bikes and watching movies. We really made the best of our time at home! Looking forward to a safe week back at school though! Thanks for your love and support!!!

We are home.

Wow!!!!! What a day!!!!! We (and I mean all three of us!!!! Wow, my kids are in the states!!!! What an amazing thing!) have arrived in MI and made it safely to my dad's house. It was a long day, but the kids did really well. They loved the airplane and Jaryse loved looking at "the city" as we flew over Miami last night. I held it all together until we landed in Miami and I heard the pilot or whoever say "welcome to Miami" at that point I cried. I couldn't believe I had actually made it to the USA with my two little munchkins. I had a smooth time through immigration both in Port au Prince and in Miami, and both flights went smoothly. I am so thankful to the Lord for protecting us through this whole ordeal and making these last few steps easier than the first few! Overwhelmed with gratitude!

Yesterday was a hard one for me!  Not the hard that has you sad and crying or feeling beat up or anything.  But, the hard was keeping my brain focused! LOL!  My brain is a hot mess people!!!  I feel like I have so many loose ends to tie up before we leave for China in 9 days....yes, I said it, 9 days!!!!!  And my brain does not stay on one topic or project or even thought long enough to complete ANYTHING!!! LOL Insomnia is my close friend when I get like this!  I will fall asleep as soon as I get into bed, into a deep beautiful sleep....for 2 hours. Then: BOOM! Wide awake! Wide awake with a brain that runs in circles! LOL!!!! So, I blog! hahaha!  It's about 4:30 in the morning and as I sit here at my computer, I hear the wind and the rain outside. H E A L T H

I am back!!! LOL!  It's been awhile since I've done any blogging!  When I looked at the last blog entry, it was 9 days before I left for China to pick up my baby girl!  I guess things got a little to busy to keep up with blogging....to say the least.  Thinking back, I remember that last week and a half.  I was a tornado of emotions, the list of things on my "to do" list was longer than the Mackinaw Bridge and I had no idea how much my life was going to change! I have to admit, I have loved being a momma of three!  I seriously believe that I am the luckiest person in the entire world. I really do like blogging.  It's good for me.  It helps me process some of the crazy in my life.  Believe me, as a single full time working momma of three kids with some special and unique needs, things can get a little crazy around here.
